
ABOUT ARTEMIS
​
Artemis Gurnsey is a distinguished Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and Multi-Media Artist, renowned for her expertise in artistic direction, design, typography, illustration, traditional, digital, and contemporary arts.
​
Her professional artist journey began as a Freelance Illustrator and Greeting Card Designer at the remarkable age of 9 in 2010, and since then, she has continuously expanded and honed her skills and techniques.
​
Artemis's exceptional talent has garnered recognition, featuring prominently in digital art magazines and exhibitions. She has collaborated with a diverse spectrum of artists, designers, businesses, and start-ups globally, crafting captivating websites, brochures, business cards, logos, social media assets, and much more.
​
Beyond her artistic prowess, Artemis is a pillar of compassion and advocacy. She co-founded SHEALD, a Non-Profit Organization and Support Group for survivors of sexual abuse in the GTA, headquartered in Toronto, Canada. She is also the visionary behind the #SWM (Survive With Me) campaign, dedicated to raising awareness of suicide among children under 20 and addressing the perils of bullying and cyberbullying, inaugurated in 2014.

Artemis's impact extends into digital media and community engagement as well. She served as the Graphic Designer, Social Media, and Brand Manager for the remote Twitch Girls Stream Team 'Blossom Streamers,' and contributed significantly as a Community Manager and Graphic Designer for MYL and MYL & Associates (Mind Your Life), and the Africarribean Advocacy Centre, all based in Toronto, Canada.
